THE FIRST ENTRY OF 2007
Maybe i should be saying something witty about how nice it is that we have a new year among us, yada yada yada, but im over that crap, i just got my voice back, and let me tell you its been a horrible weekend...
2006 was in general a good year. I sort of came to terms with the facts that i have chosen to become the biggest looser i know, by choice. Having coped with that, has made things easier to fix that little fact, however its been a long road. I have met some new people that have definetly played an important role in my life, specially Frances, who i dont know if i wold have made it alive to this very end... Her BF hates me, but its his loss not mine.
I've learned very valuable lessons this year and i hope that this new one comes with more of those, without the pain, or the family issues, or the friend disruption, stuff like that, just valuable knowledge.
God's most recent joke, was the sore throat. I lost my voice for the last weekend of the year, i had mannage to mumble stuff out by sunday, but the joke was on nonetheles...
So far this year, lets see how things ended up:
My Best Film was "The Departed", although i havent seen Blood Diamond or Babel, which i've heard are really good;
Best Song was definetly a tie between "Igual que ayer" by Nux, "Diez y 10" by TKR and "Que sabe nadie" by Nelson Poket. Props for "You know my name" by Chris Cornell, theme for 007 Casino Royale, song of the month!;
Best con job of the year was the book "A Million Little Pieces", that dude was hooked with something, but you all bought the book. I havent gotten mine though, im waiting for paperback ;-) Props for the guy that wants me to believe that he killed Jon Bennet Ramsey, get a life dude... everybody knows it was the parents...
Y ni hablar de Leonel diciendo que Danilo es irremplazable. Im so hoping he looses the Presidency to see if he gets the fact that in politics, mistake slike that cost you votes, if they like Danilo so much dude, why didnt he win the 2000 elections?
And finally, my last year as a member of the Leones del Escogido came an went. As of 2007, im a Gigante, go pimentel!
